Army excercise at Kapuni factory

On the 15th of November 2014 me and my family went to see the army people at Kapuni. The army people had to blast a roller door down at the old factory in Kapuni and they put an x on the roller door. There was army tanks, soldiers with guns, helicopters and lots of other army vehicles

On the 4th of September it was Auroa school market day. The theme is repurposing a product. Like there was a coat hanger.

Starting to sell it started at 12pm they were selling out quick and some sold out like a rocket.

And after the products were sold out then some people got a sausage and a drink.

And then everyone was leaving with their stuff and my mum and dad went home and took mikayla and Cory home because mikayla was tierd and Cory wanted to.

Should kids have iPADs in classrooms.

Kids should not have 1-1 iPads because what if someone steps on it and breaks it. When you have to buy heaps of them it would cost thousands of dollars because they are 400-500 dollars so here's some reasons why.

Firstly what if they search something inappropriate when they are not allowed to. That won't be good will it? Students will have access to internet and other search engines that they may use incorrectly.

Secondly what if someone steps on your iPad and someone breaks it that wouldn’t be good then you will have to get a another iPad and they cost around $400-$500 dollars. iPADs are expensive!!

Lastly what if you didn't have a case on your iPad and you dropped it that won't be good will it? Then you have to get another iPad.

And that what is what I think about 1-1 iPads.

Calf and Lamb day!!

This is my calf Rosie from last year's calf and lamb day I got the trophy for junior reserve champion and I got some ribbons aswell. I'm ready to choose my calf soon for this years calf and lamb day.

The scary day off...

Me and mum ''we going somewhere i said were mum I'm not talling why i said'. It was on monday 2010

walking in first we got out off the car walking in the class room with a grin on my face  then after I had hanged my bag up. I asked mum if we can go on the playground? yes repled mum so I went on the and played on the play-ground then suddenly ... the bell went mum side time to go in ok so i run in the class -room like a rocket i was thinking it was a spokey class-room.

Rit be brave geir time for mum to go ok as she wallk's of like a rocket biy mum. I side as i wallk in the calss room she side biy!! and I went to listen to the Teacher.

In the holiday me and my family went bowling. It was a treat and a family night out.
Fist me and me family got in the car like a rocket and set of when we got to Inglewood we stopped at the dairy and got 2 bags of lollies each. Then we run out the dorr.
Getting in to New Plymouth my hole family was "saying yayayayayayaa!" "We're there" then time for bolwing.
Right time to start mum said. I rushed over to the place that we were bowling at. "Yah I'm first".
Dad won he shouted yah and I shouted no I won dad. Then on the way home from New Plymouth dad kep saying yah I won and I said stop that dad.
That was a great day.

My school holidays

In the holidays my cousins came and stayed. We had heaps of fun, we went eeling and pauaing. Then my cousins went home and me and my family went ten pin bowling in New Plymouth.

Dawson falls walk

Our family went up the mountain today. We went on a walk to Dawson falls. It was very fun. We got some water out of the river and drank the water. It was the best water I have ever tasted!!! We then had lunch at the cafe and then went to the visitor centre. We also went and saw the Dawson falls power station that was awesome!!! It was a fantastic day!!!!

Weetbix Tryathlon

On the 2nd of April it was the weetbix tryathlon and all of the schools were there. It was at Ngamotu beach in New Plymouth. I did it in a team with my friend Kaydee, this is us with our medals after we finished.

Kaponga athletics.

On Thursday our whole school went to Kaponga athletics day for running and we do it every year.

My first run I was a little bit nervous so I went to Mum and said I'm a little bit nervous she said you'll be right. Then she got me some lollies and a drink.

Time for my race Mum said, so I went to line up and started walking to the tent and getting ready for my race. I was still a little bit nervous so Mum said that you can do it Katelyn. While we were waiting to go Miss Davidson done same warming up with us.

Finally it was race time so we went to line up and get ready for the race.  Off went the gun bang we started and I was coming first but someone passed me I said to my self dam I was nearly finished. I said I can't stop now I have to go to the finish line I still came 2nd, I was very happy.

On the 24th of  March it was school swimming sports at the Stratford pools, the whole school swam. The events were freestyle, backstroke and breast stroke. There was a small pool and a middle and a big pool.

Yay I'm playing natball this year for school woohoo!!!!
